Sweet Josie & Luke

Set in peace and tranquility amongst the Somerset hills, Josie & Luke tied the knot on a sunny Friday afternoon last June at St Mary’s church, the oldest church in Bath.

The couple wanted soft and lush floral designs to complement their day, we used blooms in subtle whites and pinks - a beautiful wedding colour palette, paired with lots of lush greenery to create a dreamy and romantic look.

The bride’s bouquet featured a sumptuous mix of peonies, English roses, scabious and sweetpeas with grasses and eucalyptus. Tied with delicate strands of trailing ecru silk ribbon to compliment Josie's stunning lace wedding dress.

The groom’s elegant buttonhole was made from a small selection of Josie’s bridal bouquet, finished with the same silk ribbon.

Josie’s four bridesmaids each had a luscious flower crown teamed with a small hand-tied bouquet made from astrantia, astilbe, dahlia, roses, scabious & veronica. These reflected the brides arrangement but the star flowers were in Josie's bouquet.

To frame the church entrance and provide the perfect backdrop for the couple’s exit, we created a luxurious half door archway made from silky green beech, glossy ruscus and fresh roses. Two wild and romantic frothy cow parsley arrangements sat in milk churns either side of the church’s door to complete the design.

The ceremony was followed by reception drinks and wedding breakfast at Homewood, a Georgian manor in the rolling hills of Bath.

In the reception room, the table plan was decorated with a beautiful floral garland. The round wedding breakfast tables were each adorned with a low glass vase, packed to the brim with fresh soft pink and white blooms.

The three-tier wedding cake by @laurakatiebakes looked incredible, ornamented by 3 clusters of white and pink flowers on each tier.

Have you ever been lucky enough to catch the bride’s bouquet? (Josie threw a special throwing bouquet, saving her own as a reminder of their magical day - Phew!)

THEIR WORDS

We're now back from our honeymoon and want to say an absolutely HUGE thank you for everything you did on the day - we were completely blown away by the arrangements and can't wait to get our photos back so that we can relive it all and take them all in again.
