Sunflowers at Syrencot

End of August 2022, it is full sunflower season in the heart of Wiltshire where Rachel & Jack’s dream wedding became a reality.

Surrounded by the enchanting landscape of the English countryside, the event took place in a secluded country wedding venue: beautiful Syrencot.

Morning preparations took place in the oldest part of the estate, Syrencot House, a grade II listed Georgian house.

The couple wanted flowers that carried a special meaning and embodied who they were. So what better than sunflowers for this happy and colourful summer wedding? Always facing the sun, they symbolise unwavering faith and constant orientation towards the light. This is why they are often associated with positivity, happiness, and optimism - all traits that can be found in Rachel & Jack’s union.

The early afternoon ceremony was celebrated in the bright and dainty glasshouse with naturally wild summer flower meadow arrangements bordering the aisle all the way to the registrar table in shades of yellow, cream and white .

Rachel’s romantic Moonlight bridal bustier gown played a starring role from the moment she appeared in the walled garden and walked towards Jack. Her bouquet was bursting with summer blooms. Packed with Buttercup roses, sunflowers, stocks, peonies, cosmos & astilbe and tied with trailing silk ribbons.

Jack’s buttonhole was an elegant mix of flowers from Rachels’s bouquet using a Buttercup rose as the focal flower finished with matching silk ribbon.

Rachel’s 4 bridemaids wore yellow tulle multiway dresses from Lá Closet Dé Chánel with matching naturally arranged hand-tied bouquets made from roses, peonies, stocks & lisianthus.

The ceremony’s aisle arrangements were moved to the Farmshed where the wedding breakfast took place - either side of the entrance and placed on the floor in front of the top table for a lush focal point.

After the first dance, Rachel wowed her guests (and her new husband!) once more with a white Nadine Marabi flapper party dress embellished with white crystal waterfall beading and sequins - Yes Queen!
