Royal wedding at Bath abbey

Beth and Shean said “I do” in one of the countries most iconic buildings: Bath Abbey

The ceremony began early afternoon in the heart of Bath. Beth made her grand entrance in the grade I listed building in a beautifully constructed Suzanne Neville gown. Lacy sleeves, belted waist, flowy trailing skirt and tule veil - a look as elegant and spectacular as the ceremony setting.

To keep the wedding scheme as refined as the venue, Beth and Shean chose a flower selection that consisted of white and blush blooms with natural foliage. A classic and timeless look with white and pink roses, white lisianthus, white veronica and pink astrantia.

Beth’s bridesmaids all wore the Phoebe gown from British bridal brand TH&TH Bridesmaids. These sage soft fitted chiffon dresses complemented the bride’s gown, all skirts floating while walking down the aisle, quite the effect! They all carried a bouquet matching Beth’s, made from astrantia, pink lisianthus, roses and veronica mixed with a selection of foliage and finished with a pinned sage ribbon to compliment their outfit.

After their royal wedding ceremony, the newly married couple and their 120 guests headed to Timsbury, to the impressive Regency property Parish’s House for drinks and their wedding breakfast. Surrounded by charming rolling hills and valleys, an elegant marquee was set up amongst the venue’s quintessentially English gardens.

In the marquee, round wedding breakfast tables had table centrepieces arranged in delicate trifle dishes made of roses, lisianthus, astrantia,  phlox, snowberry and seasonal foliage. The decor was finished with matching cut glass tumblers of flowers arranged on the outside of the central arrangement.

The couple’s table plan was placed on a rustic wooden easel with a soft and wild floral arrangement across the top.

The wedding cake was decorated with a delicate ring of foliage at the base as well as clusters of  flowers and foliage on each tier.

Looking at the beautiful pictures from talented photographer Jonny MP, we fell in love with Beth’s 2-year old flower girl - nearly stealing the show from Beth. We’re totally smitten!
